About Us

The Middle East Bookstore in Montreal in brief In order to serve all specters of the Arab community in Canada and the United States, the Middle East Bookstore was founded in 1990.

It contains thousands of books whose subjects deal with History, Philosophy, all literary books such as novels, poetry, biography, articles ..., the most important old books which date back to the pre-Islamic period until the contemporary period.

In addition of books of politics, Islamic research, a section devoted to children and young people are also found there. The bookstore plays an important role in revitalizing Arab culture by organizing additional activities such as literary and political conferences. The bookstore has a special department to translate documents into three languages: French, English and Arabic, and has them authenticated.

Lots of other things are also in the bookstore like gifts, CDs, perfumes

The bookstore is called the Embassy of Arabic Books Abroad.
